Commissions

Some paintings begin with a place, a colour or a feeling. Others begin with someone's story.

I create personal commissions around the details that matter to their owners. A book painting might bring together favourite titles, objects, interests and memories. Other work may begin with a cherished animal, a meaningful place or an atmosphere you would like to bring into a room.

We begin with a conversation about the idea, the intended space and the details that make it personal. The subject, composition, dimensions, price and timing are discussed individually before a commission is agreed.

One painting. A new beginning.

This sold horse painting led to two farmhouse commissions in the same violet, orange and yellow palette. A favourite colour combination became the starting point for something personal.
